Principal John Rieschick is originally from the Bronx, New York. He is one of seven siblings and is of Irish/German descent. Mr. Rieschick is married and has two wonderful children..

Mr. Rieschick spent the last ten years serving Bishop William Weigand as Diocesan Director of Catholic Faith Formation. Prior to his experience with the diocese, he spent two years working for the State of Maryland directing the 'Welfare to Work' Program in the inner city of Baltimore. Directly out of college, Mr. Rieschick joined the Maryknoll Missioners as a Religious Brother for thirteen years, eight of those years serving in Kenya, East Africa. He not only directed the only counseling center in all of East Africa, but also served as Formation Director for seminarian and brother candidates.
