Mrs. Teresa Ayers
Counselor

Mrs. Ayers holds a Bachelor Degree in Organizational Behavior and earned her Masters Degree in Counseling
Psychology in 2003 from the University of San Francisco. As a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern Teresa has
worked in non-profit agencies, K-8 Schools, Placer County and for a University. Teresa has a passion for children
and families and the focus of her work includes building on client strengths. In her work with adults she enjoys assisting those in life transitions, career counseling and facilitating parenting groups. She teaches part-time at Sacramento State University College of Continuing Education, is married and has three adult sons.
