Mrs. Abigail Burke
Seventh Grade

This is Mrs. Burke's first year at St. Patrick's.  She worked previously at St. Mary School and Christian Brothers High School.  Mrs. Burke grew up in Sacramento, and after attending high school at Christian Brothers, moved to Scotland where she studied at the University of St. Andrews, earning an M.A. Honors.  After graduating in 2006, Mrs. Burke lived and worked in the United Kingdom.  In June 2007, she married her husband, Jonathan, a native of Bristol, England, (who also graduated from the University of St Andrews) here in Sacramento at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament.  They now live in Elk Grove.  When not at school, Mrs. Burke enjoys reading classic literature, cooking, parish life, and travelling.
